Value Profile Instrument (VPI)

The Value Profile Instrument (VPI) is a multi-rater assessment tool which indicates the critical gap between ones actions and the way they are being perceived by those around in multiple contexts.

In the organizational context, it throws light of the following styles of the person:

Leadership style (derived from the assessment of their Subordinates)

Collaborative style (derived from the assessment of their Colleagues)

Followership style (derived from the assessment of their Boss/es)

Social style (derived from the assessment of their Friends/ Spouse/ Relatives)

Orientations addressed by VPI

Achievement Orientation

The ability to set a vision and achieve the same is an art that involves several critical attributes. The VPI measures the critical attributes that influence the individual’s ability to achieve results. This is a critical orientation in the context of building a business and excelling in a work situation.

Sociability Orientation

Ability to build and nurture relationships is a critical dimension in various contexts of life and Work. The VPI evaluates the critical attributes and studies their inter dynamics in the process of understanding an individuals Sociability skills.

Leadership Orientation

One’s ability to lead and influence people and events to move in a particular direction is critical in making a difference. The VPI evaluates the essential attributes and their interplay in understanding one’s ability to influence and lead.

Learning Orientation

In a world where everything is constantly changing, learning is a critical dimension that will allow an individual to innovate, adapt and cope with rapid growth. The VPI evaluates the various attributes and their interplay in drawing insights in to the learning ability of an individual.

Integrity Orientation

Ability to give feedback and coach another individual is a critical skill in building capabilities in others. The VPI evaluates the various attributes that goes into giving honest feedback and standing by the same and the interplay between them in understanding the individuals integrity orientation.

Unique features of VPI

· Maps most of the dimensions impacting the individual’s life.

· The Value Profile addresses the Action - Perception gap.

· Multi rater gives a holistic perspective to understanding an individual and their behavior in various situations. The tool is built on the premise that actions speak louder than words and hence others are invited to evaluate the individual. The individuals are given the freedom to choose whom they would like to be evaluated by.

· It does not slot people into types but gives the space for each person’s unique character to show up. Among the previous 20000 individuals we have come across similar profiles but not yet the same profile.

· It is more a development tool than just an evaluation since the path of development can be mapped.

The VPI report summarizes

· Areas of strengths and weaknesses in each orientation.

· Development plans and integration activities for each orientation.

Vision Value Instrument (VVI)

The Vision Value Instrument (VVI) is a self rater tool that aims to measure the Vision Value alignment within an individual and the implication of the same in various work situations.

Orientations assessed through VVI

The VVI aims to measure the extent of alignment between ones Vision and Values and broadly places them in one of the following orientations.

Low vision – Low values orientation

Low vision – High values orientation

High vision – Low values orientation

High vision – High values orientation

The identification of ones location becomes a path forward to move towards the High Vision, High Value orientation and align the two dimensions for evolutionary excellence.

The VVI report summarizes

· Individuals extent of alignment

· The various implications as a result of ones current location.

· Areas of immediate / short-term focus

· Areas of long term focus and improvement
